Front door with silver logo, door handle, headlamp surface, windscreen wipers and window frames. Rear side indicators traffic orange. Rear window frames silver. Tank cover and ornamental strip on rear likewise silver. Hubcap imprinted silver. Tail lights imprinted red. Yellow taxi sign with black imprint.
Year: 1955-56
And, why not? A BMW Isetta transfigured into a cab with the taxi sign on the roof took minimalism to a new extreme and excited smirks all around. Naturally, space for passengers was limited. Notwithstanding, the Isetta truly serves as a fond reminiscence of the grand old era of small post-war vehicles in the up-and-coming Federal Republic
