They travelled from the Lower Rhine to the UK - a regular haulage dash, as it were. The Nellen & Quack forwarding company initially ran short hood trucks - WIKING already issued a model of these - and then also ran the new generation "NG" from Mercedes-Benz. Carl Hermann Nellen and August Quack founded the company in Rheydt in 1884. Reconstruction started in 1948, and in 1958 a storage area of 7000 square metres and a respectable fleet were available. After belonging to the BTL group for many years, in 2008 Heiner Hoffmann acquired all shares and with his team recreated a medium-sized, owner-led company - once again under the name Nellen & Quack
