Description
Prototype: Society for Vehicle Technology LLC (GfF) standard design electric locomotive, road number 110 459-5, with aerodynamic ends (Bügelfalte / Pants Crease). B-B wheel arrangement. Built starting in 1963. Orient red basic paint scheme. The locomotive looks as it did starting in 2021.Use: Passenger trains in commuter and long-distance service and occasionally also freight service.
Model: The locomotive has a built-in digital decoder and a sound generator for operation with mfx and DCC. The locomotive motor has a flywheel. 4 axles powered. Traction tires. Warm white LEDs are used for the headlights. They and the marker lights change over with the direction of travel and can be controlled digitally. The locomotive has a close coupler mechanism. The locomotive has separately applied grab irons. Length over the buffers 103 mm / 4-1/16.
