Electric locomotive 1020 041-8 was a striking example of the legendary ‘Krokodil' E 94 class. From 2004, it served with the Mittelweserbahn (MWB) and was primarily used as a shunting locomotive on the steep Spessart ramp near Laufach. In its eye-catching blue-and-yellow MWB livery, it became one of the best-known electric locomotives on a private railway in Germany.
