The 193 297-9 "Seppl" is a Siemens Vectron MS. This multi-system locomotive was procured for cross-border services and is regularly deployed to haul EuroCity trains between Prague and Hamburg. Thanks to its authorisation for operation in both Germany and the Czech Republic, it enables non-stop journeys without locomotive changes, thereby contributing to shorter journey times and reliable international long-distance services. The 6,400 kW locomotive has a maximum speed of 200 km/h and forms an integral part of the high-quality EC services operating via Dresden and Berlin to Hamburg.
