Description
Electric locomotive 1144 283 of the Austrian Federal Railways.
Current operating condition with the "Pflatsch" logo
Roof design with tall ventilators
Used on passenger and goods trains in Austria and to Germany
The distinctive feature of the 1144 283 is its external appearance. In February 2019, following a partial overhaul, the locomotive left the ÖBB workshop in Linz. Among other things, it was given the older ÖBB emblem, the so-called "Pflatsch", as well as large red running numbers on the ends. This makes it stand out visually from many other locomotives of the 1144 class.
