The German Wehrmacht initially deployed the WR 360 C 14 diesel locomotives at key strategic points. Locomotive no. 1 is a replica built by Maschinenbau Kiel (MaK) in 1948. Between 1948 and 1972, the Oberpostdirektion Hannover had its locomotives operating at the Postbahnhof and neighbouring DB stations. There were four locomotives (Nos. 1 to 4) altogether.
