Description
Peco Streamline Code 70 Flex Track is just right for secondary lines, lightly-used branches, sidings, etc. Use it for modeling trackage in the early-to-mid 20th century when lighter rail was more commonly used. In the modern era track with smaller rail is still common on branches, secondary mainlines, older light-rail transit lines and sidings. Whereas Code 83 rail is roughly the equivalent of North American 132lb-per-foot mainline rail, Code 70 rail approximates 100lb-per-foot rail used on pre 1960s mainlines. Featuring accurate rail spike detail, correctly proportioned ties with wood grain detail and nickel silver rail, this flexible track conforms to NMRA specifications. Each section measures: 36" 91.4cm
