Description
This is the VW Bus Handcar KLV 20, Era III of the German Federal Railroad. In the Fifties different VW T1 models were built for rail service. They were used on the technology of the T1 Series various railroad technical conversions were done at Waggon and Machinery of Donauwörth as well as at Michael Beilhack Machinery Company. This resulted in the steering being removed and steps were installed on the sides. The model has an mfx/DCC decoder and various light and sound functions. The headlights and tail lights as well as the interior lighting can be controlled digitally. The handcar also has a buffer capacitor. Length of the vehicle is approximately 19 cm / 7-1/2".
