The 2100 Series of Izu Kyūkō was designed and manufactured as a proposal for railway vehicles for the 21st century. Among the fleet, the R-3 formation features a striking red livery inspired by the kinmedai (splendid alfonsino), a specialty fish representing the Izu region. Operated as the Kimme Train, this 7-car set showcases regional promotional decorations in every car, highlighting local products along the line.
