Description
Diesel locomotive 110 613 of the Deutsche Reichsbahn.
Version with a dark, weathered roof
Die-cast metal chassis
Based at Rbd Erfurt, Bw Gera
The original Class 110 was developed for the DR for passenger and freight services, and as a variant for shunting operations. The top speed was 100 km/h with an output of 1,000 hp. It thus quickly became a ‘jack-of-all-trades' and bridged the gap between the less powerful Class 106 and the more powerful Class 118.
