We also offer more comfort and flexibility when switching magnetic items: Keypads can be omitted, as the control is via control modules such as speed controllers or computer software. The wiring is clearer, as the lines no longer have to be routed over the entire model railway system, but corresponding decoders are mounted in the vicinity of the accessories and wired with them.

The switching information is sent to the switching decoders via the same two-wire cable, which also supplies the tracks, which then set the drives of switches and/or signals in motion or turn lamps and LEDs in light signals on and off.

The key module 03201 serves as a link between these buttons/switches and the digital switching decoders. The switching state of the connected switches/signals can be displayed (e.g. in the track image control panel) with LEDs. The switching state is stored in 03201: the key modules are set to the factory so that the stored state of the switches and signals is automatically restored after switching on. So if you have manually adjusted a switch after switching off the system (e.g. when accidentally cleaning the tracks), it will be reset to the stored state after switching on. This automatic can be switched off on request.

  • Quiet current below 10mA
  The decoder itself requires less than 10mA in the idle state. The power demand of the outputs depends on the connected article. The supply is via the bus.
• The decoders are protected against short circuit with a self-resetting fuse.
• Long conclusion The decoders have a charging control, so that the control panel does not mistakenly diagnose a short circuit when starting.
