Description
This Broadway Limited HO Scale EMD GP35 locomotive is based on the four-axle diesel-electric locomotive built by EMD and GMDD in the mid 1960s. Over 1300 of these locomotives were produced, and they were operated by virtually every major railroad in the United States. Additionally, 26 units were built for Canadian railroads and another 57 units were built for Mexican railroads. These freight locomotives were powered by EMD 567D3A 16-cylinder engines that generated 2500 horsepower. This detailed model features roadname-specific detailing, fine decoration, a flywheel-equipped drive and a die cast chassis for great performance. It's equipped with the Paragon4 Sound/DC/DCC control system featuring Rolling Thunder and equipped with an integral GoPack capacitor pack. This model has wheels profiled to operate on Code 70 and larger rail and curves of 18" radius, but larger curves are recommended. The EMD GP35 is one of many Broadway Limited HO Scale Paragon4 locomotives.
