Description
Based on full-width body road diesels, this Bowser Executive Line GMD SD40 is a model of a 3,000 horsepower locomotive built in GMDD in London, Ontario between 1966 and 1971. Still operated by secondary owners in the U.S. and Canada, these long-lived diesels have been used across the continent in all kinds of service. This finely detailed model features railroad-specific and era-specific body details, accurate decoration, directional lighting, a can motor with flywheels, nickel-silver wheels with RP25 flanges and knuckle couplers.
Executive Line: Ready to Run, super detailed, numbered, with DCC and Sound or Analog (DC).
DCC and Sound version features ESU LokSound V5 Decoder. Analog (DC) version has 21 pin socket for DCC module.
Bowser does not recommend LOK sound locos for use on DC layouts.
