Snälltåget is a Swedish railway company based in Malmö. The company operates long-distance trains and night trains between Stockholm and Malmö, as well as to Berlin and, seasonally, to the skiing and hiking areas in Jämtland and Austria. In 2016, Snälltåget decided to manage its own train operations instead of hiring Siemens EuroSprinters and train drivers from Hector Rail, as it had done previously. To facilitate this change, the company leased five new Vectron AC locomotives from European Locomotive Leasing (ELL).
