Since 2017, the CD Vectron locomotives (193 289-298) have been used for international express trains, mainly on the EuroCity routes from Prague to Berlin/Hamburg/Kiel and to Budapest. IIn 2021, the CD not only purchased their first Vectron, but also hired six additional locomotives from the Slovakian leasing company Rolling Stock Lease (RSL). These were given a different livery to those leased from ELL. In addition to the CD logo, a quarter of each side is covered in grey with a unique QR code. Each locomotive advertises a different CD product,the 193 696 for CD Bike (bicycle hire).
