Description
Track workers, section gangs, signal maintainers and roadmasters used handcar set-offs to clear the line for passing trains, and to turn their handcars and motorcars for the return trip. Some roads required set-offs every mile, and they were often found at signals and sidings as well. Based on prototype railroad standards, this kit includes parts to build three complete stand-offs on a fill (with supports for one end) or level ground.
