Description
Located on the south side of the tracks at Silverton, Colorado, this Ore Chute makes an interesting addition to any HO Scale line. Built sometime in the late 1930s or early 40s, the prototype was served by trucks and used to load box cars with high-grade ore, which required more protection in transit. The complete kit is molded in styrene with a high level of detail. Designed for easy construction, the ore chutes and cribing can be configured to fit your available space. The model includes a complete set of optional stairs and railings which can be arranged as needed to add character to the finished model, or left off to match the appearance of the actual structure.
