The trough hatch cars feature road name specific parallel ribbed roof hatches, diagonal ribbed "zig-zag" roof hatches, or smooth flat hatches as per the prototype. All cars feature numerous wire details, etched metal roof walks, laser sharp painting and lettering, accurate colors, 100 ton trucks with InterMountain 36" precision metal wheelsets, and metal knuckle couplers.
