With its 600-HP diesel engine, distinctive rod drive and robust construction, it was in service for decades at stations throughout Austria.\u003cbr\u003eThe locomotive features the characteristic Valousek design with a ‘bib' on the ends, which was introduced on many ÖBB shunting locomotives from the 1990s onwards and made them easier to recognise.
